Search For The Needle Chapter 2 Code Puzzle

The answer is not one fixed number
Two separate Chapter 2 recordings in the supplied source pack show different successful code values. That is the strongest evidence that the puzzle is variable or instance-dependent.
If a page tells every player “the code is 3534,” it can be correct for that recording and still be wrong for you.
How to solve it
- Progress Chapter 2 until the code panel is active.
- Search the nearby papers/clue sheets.
- Check the back / hidden side of the papers rather than reading only the obvious front text.
- Find the four-digit number used by your run.
- Enter it at the keypad/panel.
- Confirm the related indicator turns green before moving to the crystal puzzle.
Why you may see 3534 or 0531 online
One complete Chapter 1–2 playthrough finds 3534 on the paper and successfully enters it. A separate Normal Mode Chapter 2 recording enters 0531 while solving the same stage. Both can be genuine footage without either being a universal code.
If your code does not work
Do not brute-force the popular numbers. Re-check the papers, make sure you have the full four digits, and confirm you are using the code for the current puzzle rather than a promotional redemption code such as ALIEN.
